be decorated with banners, flag and slogans
from groups and individuals from around the

events.

Poland, Scotland, Sweden, Togo and the United
States.
Ricardo Navarro, Chair of Friends of the
Earth International commented:
“The Hague talks may be the last chance to
rescue the 1997 Kyoto agreement to fight
man-made climate change. This year has seen
severe weather disasters all over the world.
Thousands have died, and millions have seen
their homes and livelihoods damaged or
destroyed. We could see more of this with
climate change! We are here to bear witness
to what is already happening, and to demand
that Governments act now to save our children
from the terrible danger of climate
change.”
