hello friends far and wide!

Welcome to our annual report! Settle down and pour yourself a cup of tea or coffee. We want to share hundreds of exciting activities and developments over the past year which we think will give you a good overview of the work our federation has been doing in our core areas of mobilization, resistance and transformation.

Nnimmo intro / Executive Summary

First of all, let me introduce myself. I am Nnimmo Bassey, the new Chair of Friends of the Earth International. I follow in the footsteps of Meena Raman, who was our brave and fearless leader over the past four years. Meena was instrumental in moving the federation forward with our strategic planning and visioning process. I strongly believe that our strategic plan has placed us on an irrevocable path to concrete changes for a transformed future.

In case you do not know us yet, we are a global grassroots environmental organization with member groups in 77 countries around the world. The groups campaign together to improve the ability of peoples and communities around the world to secure sustainable livelihoods and to protect our environment for future generations. We work on the platform of solidarity, drawing energies from our diverse backgrounds while pursuing a unified vision of the world we wish to have.
