international activities in 2008

Friends of the Earth International facilitated and supported the participation of community representatives and civil society organizations from the Global South and the Global North at several international events, supporting the sharing of their experiences and struggles.

FoEI and FoE member groups also organized public events to highlight environmental struggles of local communities.

 

FoEI was able to broadcast special coverage of many of these events through Real World Radio, which allowed individuals and community members to follow the events online.
