food sov forum austriaIn August the European Forum for Food Sovereignty took place in Krems, Austria. Following Nyeleni Mali 2007, the idea was to get people together from organizations already involved in the issues of food sovereignty.

The forum was attended by 400 delegates from 34 European countries (from Portugal to Azerbajan), on behalf of more than 120 organizations. The goal of the meeting was to look at food sovereignty from a European perspective.
