The Legal Rights & Natural Resources Center-Kasama sa Kalikasan/FoE Philippines (LRC-KSK/FoE Philippines), was founded in 1988 and joined FoEI in 1991. It is also a member of the Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide (ELAW). LRC-KSK is a policy and legal research and advocacy institution. They focus mainly on advocacy of indigenous peoples' rights, resource tenure, environmental management, and sustainable energy options. To achieve these goals, LRC-KSK maintains three major programs: the Research and Policy Development, Direct Legal Services, and Campaigns, Support and Linkages, and has three branch offices - the Luzon, Northern Mindanao, and Southern Mindanao Branch Offices - dedicated towards bringing LRC-KSK's services closer to its partner communities. Among the organisation's numerous publications are its English-language newsletter, "Tan-awan" and its law and policy journal, published quarterly, "The Philippine Natural Resources Law Journal," published bi-annually.
LRC-KSK is taking part in the
following FoEI campaigns: genetically
modified organisms, international financial
institutions, trade and the mining
programme.
