Friends of the Earth International is a campaigning organization and is unfortunately not able to offer financial assistance.
- - Are you accepting applications for jobs, internships or volunteer positions?
The International Secretariat is a small office so we don't often have vacancies. We always post them on our website when they do come up, so please check back often. We do not have funding for paid internships, but depending on your skills we may be very happy for your support. But please keep in mind that we are a small secretariat, the actual campaign work carried out by our office is limited. Study our website thoroughly to find out whether your interest fits in what we do. We also advertise vacancies for volunteers on our website. Please note, we do not have jobs or tasks available for environmental engineers. If there is a Friends of the Earth member group in your country, please contact them to find out about jobs, internships or volunteer positions.
- - Can you link to my website or my organization's website?
Most websites we are asked to link to are specific to a certain country or region, whereas the Friends of the Earth International website is intended for a global audience. We suggest that you contact the Friends of the Earth member group in the country your website is intended for. To contact a member group please go to the member group directory.
- - How can I live in a more environmentally-friendly manner?
There are many simple steps that can be taken. A number of national Friends of the Earth groups around the world have created excellent publications on this subject, so we suggest that you contact a group in your country or region of the world. Friends of the Earth England, Wales and Northern Ireland has a page on lifestyle and has publications in English on themes including choosing environmentally friendly wood, eco-renovation, creating a "green" office, sustainable gardening, energy saving, cutting your car use, and waste reduction and recycling.
