The Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) needs to guarantee that the targets will actually improve the situation for biodiversity, based on a Framework that ensures that the world lives within the planetary boundaries. The current framework fails to do so.

Friends of the Earth International call upon all Parties in the CBD to set up a framework with real and binding commitments. We will fight continuously for a Global Biodiversity Framework that is built upon environmental integrity. Read and download our demands:
