Scotland

Friends of the Earth Scotland thinks globally and acts locally, delivering solutions to climate change by enabling and empowering people in Scotland to take both individual and collective action and also help people to sustain a healthy society and environment.
They are Scotland’s leading environmental campaigning organisation with a network comprising thousands of supporters and active local groups across the country.
The group campaigns on a wide range of climate justice issues. These include a phase out of oil and gas, a just transition away from fossil fuels, and resisting greenwashing technologies such as carbon capture and storage and hydrogen. They are also leading campaigns to improve transport, develop a circular economy and for public money to be divested from fossil fuel companies.
