Friends of the Earth International (FoEI) is a global network of 73 organisations campaigning on today's most urgent environmental and social issues. Its international secretariat in Amsterdam is looking for an enthusiastic:
Info-request Volunteer – 1 day per week (flexible)
Based in the Netherlands, the Information Request Volunteer will help us deal with questions and requests for information from the general public. You will also be asked to handle incoming messages via our social media channels and respond or redirect them as appropriate.
You will be part of our support team, which is responsible for finance, human resources and logistics. Other occasional support tasks may also become part of your work for us, depending on availability, enthusiasm and your own preferences.
If you are fluent in English, can communicate well in writing and are available approximately one day per week to work from home or to come to our office* in Amsterdam (city centre), please send us by a brief intent letter, together with your CV and availability.
Additional languages for example Spanish and French (in addition to English) are considered an asset.
This is an unpaid position but travel costs will be reimbursed.
