British electricity users will pay £81 billion for electricity from the Hinkley Point C nuclear power station in its first 35 years.

Meanwhile, costs for renewable energy continue to drop. Senior campaigner Simon Bullock, makes the case that it’s folly to lock the UK into long-term, polluting, expensive nuclear projects.
