Impunity prevails with transnational corporations (TNCs) that systematically violate human rights. We need an international treaty to ensure that communities affected by TNC crimes have access to justice.

You wouldn’t allow a fox to guard the chicken coop, would you? So, why would we let TNCs to write their own rules? We need a provision in the currently discussed UN Binding Treaty on TNCs and Human Rights to leave TNCs influence out.
