This report was researched by campaigners in Friends of the Earth Australia who visited Indonesia to examine the Kalimantan Forests and Climate Partnership (KFCP), the world’s first large scale REDD pilot project that was set up between Australia and Indonesia.

The report analyses the social and environmental effectiveness of the KFCP in the light of new developments in both Kalimantan and national REDD policy in Indonesia. It finds that REDD forest carbon offsets are a false solution to climate change.
